Also let us tell you that ISRO has got a big success, the lander of Chandrayaan 3 has been installed in the orbit of Chandrayaan 2. Vikram lander ready for soft landing on lunar surface, now only 2 days left for Chandrayaan to land on lunar surface, Vikram lander has completed successful deboosting for the second time, now distance of lander from moon is only 25 km.
After landing on the lunar surface, the rover will conduct research and collect data for a total of 14 days, with the life of the rover Pragyan being equal to one lunar day, i.e. 14 days. The rover will collect data on aluminum, silicon, magnesium, potassium, titanium, calcium and iron on the moon.
The propulsion module will work for years
Former ISRO scientist Vinod Kumar Srivastav said that when Chandrayaan 3 was launched, the propulsion module had 1696.4 kg of fuel, after which it changed its orbit around the earth five times with the help of the propulsion module, the engine was turned on six times along with the orbit correction. Later Chandrayaan 3 proceeded towards the moon.
After which the propulsion module engines were turned on six times around the Moon, a total of 1546 kilograms of fuel was consumed, while the thrusters of the propulsion module were turned on five times around the Earth, 793 kilograms of fuel were used. After which thrusters i.e. engines were turned on to reduce the orbit around the moon five times. 753 kg of fuel was used then. A total of 1546 kg of fuel has been used. Now 150 kg fuel has increased. That means it will not work for 3 to 6 months but can work for many years.
