Meteorologist Ambalal Patel, predicting rain in the state, said that there is a possibility of a deep depression in the sea of Orissa on July 26, which will affect the western part of the country. There is a possibility of rain in different parts of the country. On 26th, 27th and 28th, there is a possibility of rain in the western part. Heavy to very heavy rain is predicted in Mumbai.
Ambalal Patel predicted that there will still be good rain in Gujarat. South Gujarat and Saurashtra are likely to experience heavy rains from July 27 to August 5. North and Central Gujarat are also likely to receive rain. Gujarat is also likely to receive rain in the first week of August. There are chances of rain in Mehsana, Aravalli district in the first week of August. Heavy rains in Gujarat will also increase the water level of Narmada and Tapi rivers, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea are likely to gust up to 100 kmph. This has been stated by Ambalal Patel.
