‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav which encourages people to bring the tricolor home and fly it to mark India’s 76th year of independence. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 76th year of independence becomes not only a personal connection with the tricolor but also a form of our commitment to nation building. The idea behind this initiative is to instill a sense of patriotism in the hearts of people and create awareness about the Indian national flag.
People of the country can take a selfie with the national flag hoisted at their homes and offices and upload it on social media with the hashtags #IndiaPost4Tirnga, #HarGharTirnga, #HarDilTirnga. Through this every household can become a conscious part of the Triranga Abhiyan.
On the occasion of Azadi’s Amrit Mohotsav, the Government of India has appealed to the citizens to hoist the tricolor at their homes from August 13 to August 15 to show their patriotism. We all should participate in this campaign by hoisting the tricolor at home on this occasion. After hoisting the flag you can download “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan Certificate” by taking a selfie with it and uploading it on the official website.
How to register Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan?
- First go to the official website harghartiranga.com
- In the page that opens, you have to click on the button with Upload Selfi With Flag.
- Then upload your photo after Naam Lakhon.
- After uploading the photo click on submit button.
- After clicking on the submit button, the certificate will appear there, now you can download it.
