RTE Document List: To fill the form of RTE, so many documents are required, keep them ready

RTE Document List: RTE Admission 2024: Many schemes are implemented for quality improvement in the education sector. Among them, a good scheme for children from weaker and disadvantaged groups is the RTE Admission 2024 scheme. Under this scheme, free admission is given to 25% students in class 1 in private schools. The notification for filling the form for admission for the year 2024-25 has come.

RTE Document List

Under this scheme, free admission is given in standard 1. In which the facility of free study is provided up to class 8. In this scheme, the government pays the fees of the students to the schools as per the rules. Apart from this, the government also provides assistance of Rs.3000 as scholarship to the students every year. Under this scheme, online form can be filled from 14-3-2024 to 26-3-2024 for admission to class 1.

Following is the RTE Document List for filling the form of RTE.

Proof of residence

One of the following documents is required as proof of residence.

  • Any one of Aadhaar Card / Passport / Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Election Card / Ration Card
  • If any of the above grounds are met, a registered tenancy agreement is not required.
  • In the event that none of the above grounds are met, the registered tenancy agreement shall be considered valid as per the Gujarat Stamp Act, 1958.
  • (Notarized rental agreement will not be considered valid)

Caste Certificate

Certificate issued by Mamlatdarshree or Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Authority of the parent as proof of caste of the student.

birth certificate

Gram Panchayat/Municipality, Metropolitan Municipality, Birth/Hospital Registration Certificate/Anganwadi, Balwadi Registration Certificate/Notarized Affidavit of Parents or Guardian as Proof of Student’s Birth

Income certificate of guardian

Income certificate issued by Mamlatdar or Taluka Development Officer shall be accepted as proof of income. At the village level, the income pattern given by the Talati of the e-Gram Panchayat will be considered valid and that dt. Only after 01/04/2021 will be considered valid.

BPL Certificate

The guardian belonging to BPL category from 0 to 20 marks has to submit the example of Taluka Development Officer or Director, District Village Development Agency for rural area while for urban area the example of authorized competent authority in case of Municipal Corporation and in case of Municipal Corporation has to be submitted.

Children studying in Government Anganwadi

Students who have studied in a Government Anganwadi for at least 2 years and whose name is registered on the ICDS-CAS webportal means that the students who have studied in that Anganwadi must submit an attested copy of the Anganwadi worker of the concerned Anganwadi or a competent authority as determined by the Govt.

Apart from this, the following certificates/evidence must also be submitted.

  • Passport size color photograph of the student
  • In case of an orphan, a certificate issued by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of that district
  • In case of a child in need of care and protection, a certificate from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of that district.
  • In case of children from orphanages, a certificate from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of that district.
  • In case of children of child labourers/migrant labourers, certificate from the Labor Officer of the District Labor and Employment Department.
  • Children with Cerebral Palsy Civil Surgeon Certificate
  • Children with Special Needs (Divyang) Civil Surgeon’s Certificate (Minimum 40%)
  • (ART) Children undergoing anti-retroviral therapy Civil Surgeon Certificate
  • Example of the Competent Officer of the Account regarding children of martyred soldiers
  • For the category of having only one daughter in the child, the example of Talati cum Mantrishri for rural area, Chief Officer for municipal area and Competent Officer for metropolitan area is the only daughter child (single girl child).
  • Nomadic Tribes and Freed Tribes Certificate from Mamlatdarshree or Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Authority
  • Copy of child’s Aadhaar card
  • Copy of Aadhaar card of guardian
  • Xerox copy of passbook of bank account of child or guardian
  • Self declaration form regarding income tax return
